July 25th NYS DOH 'eDental' Webinar

The NYS Department of Health is pleased to announce the upcoming eDental Webinar to be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 PM. The purpose of this online event is to:

  1. Educate dentists and orthodontists serving Medicaid Managed Care & Fee for Service patients about converting to electronic transactions and health records;
  2. Assist NYC orthodontists with Prior Authorization submission requirements for existing Managed Care cases and all Fee for Service cases; and
  3. Inform providers regarding upcoming mandatory conversion to electronic format for certain transactions.

All Dentists and Orthodontists serving Medicaid Managed Care and Fee for Service patients who are interested in incentive programs to convert to electronic health records and upcoming FFS requirements for electronic transactions are encouraged to attend this online session.
