| Dental lab tax changes take effect June 1, 2006 April 17, 2006 NYSDA has been advised by the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance that, in response to a request from NYSDA, the department will change its policy and exempt inlays and onlays from sales tax from June 1, 2006 forward. A final memorandum will be issued. It is the responsibility of the dental laboratories to collect sales tax, and not the responsibility of the dentist. |
