AHRQ Highlights HIT Customization Initiative

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has highlighted its initiative to customize health information technology (HIT) in order to better support the workflow of health care providers and reduce burdens of documentation.  AHRQ notes that while HIT like electronic health records (EHRs) have great potential to improve patient care, they also present workflow challenges for health care providers.  To read the AHRQ information on its initiative to customize HIT, use the link below.
