AHRQ Profiles Research Initiatives on the Use of Health Information Technology to Improve Patient Safety

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has profiled its research initiatives on the use of health information technology to improve patient safety.  In particular, AHRQ highlights the ongoing project to use electronic health records with computerized provider order entry capabilities to simulate patient care as a training tool to reduce medication errors and other complications with patient care.  To read the AHRQ profile of its research initiatives on the use of health information technology to improve patient safety, use the link below.
