Governor Cuomo Announces NYSDOH Letter to HSS on Termination of CHIP

Governor Cuomo has announced that the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) has sent a letter to the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) notifying HHS that New York will discontinue the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) when current state funding expires, with the result that 350,000 children in New York will lose their health insurance coverage.  To read Governor Cuomo's announcement and the NYSDOH letter to HHS, use the link below.
