A Dental and MS Patient
There may be as many as 2.8 million people worldwide afflicted with multiple sclerosis. They suffer from a variety of neurological difficulties but may also experience pain and discomfort in the oral and maxillofacial region. “Manifestations of Trigeminal Neuralgia Secondary to Multiple Sclerosis,” the March Journal cover feature, aims to better prepare dental practitioners treating MS patients presenting with pain on when to reconsider a nondental diagnosis.
Learn more about the intersection of MS and dentistry in the March Journal, available online here.
