Dentists less than ten years out of dental school receive a variety of benefits relating to the early years of their career. If you're a new dentist practicing or planning to practice in New York State, look to NYSDA to assist you with a broad range of services, like reduced dues for recent graduates, designed for those entering the profession. Protect the investment of time, energy and money you have put into your dental education.
The NYSDA Five-Year Reduced Dues Program enables recent graduates to pay reduced membership dues until they have been out of school for six years! Savings during the first year alone total almost $400! The reduced dues rates are as follows:
- 1st year out: pay 25% of active member dues
- 2nd and 3rd years out: pay 50% of active member dues
- 4th and 5th years out: pay 75% of active member dues
The ADA Reduced Dues Program enables recent graduates to pay reduced dues until they have been out of school for four years. The reduced dues are as follows:
- 1st year out: pay 0% of active member dues
- 2nd year out: pay 25% of active member dues
- 3rd year out: pay 50% of active member dues
- 4th year out: pay 75% of active member dues
In dollars and cents, this translates to a savings of almost $900 in ADA and NYSDA dues your first year out alone.
