NYSDA is partnering with Delete Blood Cancer

The New York State Dental Association (NYSDA) is partnering with Delete Blood Cancer DKMS to help register dental patients as potential life-saving donors for people diagnosed with blood cancers that are in need of bone marrow transplants.

From May 1 to June 30, 2014, participating dental offices will offer interested patients the opportunity to self-swab and register as potential bone marrow donors. NYSDA member offices will have the opportunity to sign up to participate in this campaign from March 7 to April 7 via the Delete Blood Cancer website

Delete Blood Cancer is the largest donor center in the world, and with that, our registered donors have the potential to help people both in the U.S. and abroad. With more than 4 million registered donors worldwide, Delete Blood Cancer has facilitated nearly 40,000 lifesaving transplants, and we are excited to help increase these numbers and save more lives.
