NYSOH Announces Health and Dental Insurance Plans Available on New York's Health Benefits Exchange

The New York State of Health (NYSOH), the health benefits exchange for New York and an arm of the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), has announced the health and dental insurance plans that will be available to both individuals and small businesses on the health benefits exchange for 2016.  Ten stand-alone dental plans will be offered through NYSOH.  There will also be 16 plans available for individuals through NYSOH and 8 plans available for small businesses through NYSOH.  In addition, a new Essential Plan for low income New Yorkers will be offered by 13 plans through NYSOH.  To read a complete list of all the plans and the announcement of the NYSOH offerings in 2016, use the first link below.  To read about the new Essential Plan for low income New Yorkers being offered through NYSOH, use the second link below.  To read general information about NYSOH and its operation, use the last link below.  (NYSDOH announcement and summary of NYSOH health benefits exchange offerings)  (NYSOH information on Essential Plan for low income New Yorkers)  (NYSOH general information)
