This is a program designed to promote inclusivity, understanding, and appreciation of diverse viewpoints across various dimensions such as culture, ethnicity, gender, age, and more. The program aims to create a platform where individuals from different backgrounds can share their unique experiences, insights, and perspectives, fostering a rich tapestry of ideas and knowledge exchange.

Speakers: Drs. Maurice Edwards, Prabha Krishnan, Katie Rothas, and Jerica Cook.

Learning Objectives:

Broadening Horizons Through Shared Experiences: One of the key takeaways from the program is that exposure to different viewpoints broadens one's horizons and deepens understanding. Listening to the lived experiences and perspectives of others allows individuals to see the world from multiple lenses, challenging their own assumptions and biases. This exchange of knowledge not only enriches personal growth but also prepares individuals to navigate and contribute positively to a diverse and interconnected world and profession.

Embracing Diversity Enhances Creativity and Innovation: By actively promoting inclusivity and understanding, the program highlights that diverse perspectives lead to richer, more creative, and innovative solutions.

Inclusivity Strengthens Community Bonds: When people from different ethnicities, practice modalities genders, and ages come together and share their stories, it breaks down barriers and promotes mutual respect. Participants will learn ways to foster a sense of belonging and unity, which is essential for a harmonious and supportive community.
