NYSDA has nine standing Councils, each with one (1) new dentist member. Councils are established by the House of Delegates, for members to assist in the positive development of the dental profession, monitor trends affecting the oral health of the public, and create recommended policy adjustments.

The New Dentist Trustee provides NYSDA leadership with a unique perspective representing the New Dentists in New York State. It is a great opportunity to refine leadership skills and build lasting relationships among the leaders in the profession. It is also a chance to shape the future of dentistry.
