Manifestations of Trigeminal Neuralgia Secondary to Multiple Sclerosis in Dentoalveolar Region
Neurological symptoms of multiple sclerosis are well-known. Less frequently discussed is its affect on the dentoalveolar region, which can lead to failure to recognize it as a factor in a patient’s oral pain. Arteriovenous Malformation Presenting as a Disfigured and Throbbing Face
Maxillofacial arteriovenous malformations, while rare, pose life[1]threatening risk of severe bleeding if not properly diagnosed prior to commencing dental treatment. Patient in need of extraction and presenting with symptoms of possible AVM undergoes preoperative embolization to minimize intraoperative bleeding, followed by hemimandibulectomy and fibula free-flap reconstruction.
